How are groups formed?
"I don't fit students into groups. I build groups around students"
I personally create each group based on ability, current attainment, target grade, and learning needs. I also keep year groups separate, so students learn alongside peers following a similar stage of the curriculum and working towards comparable goals.
How are parents informed about their child's progress?
Detailed feedback is provided after each session. Homework is part of the session & parents can track their child's progress on Google Classroom.
Additional benefits?
The sessions are recorded with parents' consent & the recording is available until the end of the academic year. They can access all my resources through Google Classroom.
